COVID-19 Policy Update
June 30, 2021
The COVID-19 Task Force discussed the current vaccination rate of our congregation and the updated Pennsylvania state guidelines surrounding COVID-19 this past week.
With a vaccination rate much higher than 70% (Pennsylvania’s guideline for going mask-less in public spaces) in our congregation, we are optimistic that we can now go mask-less both inside in our sanctuary and outside in our chapel for worship!
We will continue to take attendance in case there is a possible exposure in the congregation and to maintain healthy and safe church guidelines in case of emergency.
We do ask that those individuals who have not yet received the vaccine (both doses + 2 weeks out) continue to wear their mask throughout the worship service, whether it be inside or outside (your mask should cover both your nose and mouth when worn properly).
Congregational singing will resume both inside and outside.
We are so grateful for each and every one of you who has helped keep our community safe and healthy throughout this pandemic.
We have demonstrated true Christian love in the actions we have taken to protect our friends and neighbors during this time and truly believe God was with us through the good (and not-so-good) moments we have shared as we have navigated this pandemic. And God is still with us, speaking even louder now.
We look forward to seeing your smiling faces on Sunday!
**We understand some individuals do not yet feel comfortable going without a mask and respect that decision. Please do what makes you feel comfortable and respect where one another is at this point in time**
